‘Shah Rukh Khan scolded me when I lost to Kolkata in an IPL match’; Says Juhi Chawla

Mumbai: Cricket is as much a hobby of Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan as it is a movie. That love is the reason why the Kolkata Knight Riders acquired the IPL team. Shah Rukh Khan often visits the stadium to watch Kolkata’s matches.

Along with Shah Rukh Khan, Bollywood actor Juhi Chawla is also seen in the gallery. Juhi Chawla, one of the co-owners of Kolkata, is a close friend of Shah Rukh Khan.

Juhi opened up about his relationship with the Kolkata team on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ yesterday. Juhi says that once when the Kolkata team was on the verge of defeat in the IPL, Shah Rukh, who was watching the game on the stand, scolded him. ‘One day during a match, Shah Rukh called me bad. Is this how you bowl? Bowling should be based on fielding. This is not true. Shah Rukh told me that a team meeting needs to be called. I did not know what to do. ‘ Juhi clarifies.

“Every time we lose a match, Shah Rukh calls a special team meeting,” Juhi said. “I always pray when I watch Kolkata,” he said. ‘I will call on all the gods. Mantras will be composed. Gayatri will recite the mantra. ‘ Says Juhi.
