Minor Hotels is set to open Avani Plus Fares Maldives Resort on April 1 with 176 rooms on Fares Island, making it the first AVANI hotel in the Maldives and the 6th Minor Group hotel.
Small Hotels to open Avani+ Fares Maldives Resort On Fares Island, west of Baa Atoll in the Maldives, April 1, 2023 marks the first AVANI hotel in the sixth of the Maldives and Minor Group.
Fares is one of 61 islands located in the Ba Atoll UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, Avani + Fares, and is conveniently located close to key attractions such as Hanifaru Bay (Hanifaru) where guests can snorkel with whale sharks and manta rays . Including 5 beautiful circular islands, as well as 12 dive sites and a 220 meter long coral reef teeming with marine life such as turtles and dolphins.
There is also a coral reef nearby at Fares which is 600 meters long for visitors to enjoy the magnificent underwater world.
