One dead person and three missing left the shipwreck of a fishing boat that capsized near the Los Frailes archipelago located to the east of Venezuela, in the Caribbean Sea, reported last Thursday the National Institute of Aquatic Spaces (INEA).
He added that they are continuing the search for the three fishermen who were traveling on the “Río Catatumbo” boat, according to the testimonies of two survivors who have already been rescued.
They pointed out that the search and rescue work continues to give good results thanks to the coordination between the GC-24 “Hugo Chávez” coastal surveillance vessel, of the Coast Guard Command and with the fishing community.
For its part, the Coast Guard Command reported that this week a vessel was located and rescued in the coastal state of Falcón, the vessel “Las gemelas” with two crew members in good health.
