Tehran: A security guard was killed and two others wounded in a shootout at the Azerbaijan embassy in Iran.
At 8.30am on Friday, the attacker came with a gun and fired at the security officer. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the person killed was Orkhan Askar, head of the security department.
It is said that the attacker has been arrested by the police. Meanwhile, the administration is not ready to release details about the culprit. The Ministry of External Affairs said an investigation had been launched into the incident.
