Leaders of the G7 countries gathered in Germany on the 26th (local time) and exchanged mocking jokes about President Vladimir Putin, who often shows off his masculine beauty by ‘taking off his top’.

Before the meeting began, the people around the round table chatted lightly over outfits for a group photo to be released to the press, and then suddenly mentioned Putin.

The first to speak was British Prime Minister Johnson.

“Shall we put on the jacket or take it off?” he said, “We have to show that we are tougher than Putin.”

Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau then retorted, “You should take your shirt off and do some horseback riding,” as if he had in mind the famous picture of Putin riding on the saddle of a horse completely undressed.

Prime Minister Johnson replied with a smile, “That’s it. We also have to show our chest muscles.”

After taunting and joking among male leaders over ‘how can I definitely threaten Putin’, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, a woman, said, “Anyway, horseback riding is the best (best sport)” He changed the topic.

US President Joe Biden, who had said just hours before meeting with other heads of state that “the G7 will together announce a ban on gold imports from Russia,” was not involved in the conversation, but smiled at the camera as they took the photo, The Washington Post (WP) reported.

In the group photo distributed by the reporters, the top leaders were dressed in their jackets.

The meeting included Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi, European Commission President von der Leyenne, US President Biden, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, British Prime Minister Johnson, Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, French President Emmanuel Macron, and EU President Charles Michel. The meeting chairperson was present.

Putin has often revealed his personal gym at the presidential residence or his muscular figure swimming, hunting and horseback riding without his jacket.
