Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said, the holy month of Ramadan is the month of fasting and moderation. In this holy month, through self-restraint, the soul is purified and there is a wonderful opportunity to obtain the pleasure, closeness and forgiveness of the Almighty Allah. Siam plays a unique role in establishing mutual sympathy, harmony and brotherhood between the rich and the poor.
He said this in a message given on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan on Friday (March 24).

He said, I offer my sincere congratulations to the countrymen and the world Muslim Ummah. Let us be inspired by the teachings of the holy month of Ramadan and avoid all indulgences, enmity, exuberance and conflicts and protect the sanctity of Ramadan by showing moderation, patience and moderation in all aspects of life. Avoiding all kinds of superstitions, we establish the spirit of Islam, the religion of peace, at all levels of individual, social and national life. In addition to fasting, I read the Quran more and I am busy in worship.
Sheikh Hasina said, may Almighty Allah grant us the Tawfiq to implement the teachings of the holy month of Ramadan in our national life. May the month of Ramadan bring peace in our lives, may the lives of all be prosperous. In the holy month of Ramadan, I pray to Almighty Allah Rabbul Alamin for the future progress, peace, prosperity and welfare of the beloved motherland Bangladesh and the Muslim world.
