Reports have emerged that some of the Russian conglomerates and Ukrainian negotiators involved in peace negotiations between Ukraine and Russia have suffered from symptoms of suspected poisoning.

On the 28th local time, the Wall Street Journal (WSJ), citing a source, reported that Russian tycoon Roman Abramovich and part of the Ukrainian peace negotiator showed symptoms of poisoning after meeting in Kiev earlier this month.

According to reports, after the Kyiv meeting on the 3rd, Abramovich, Ukrainian parliamentarian Rustemumerov, and other negotiators showed bleeding, painful tears, and peeling skin on the face and hands.

Abramovich also showed symptoms of blindness. According to those familiar with the news, Abromović lost her sight for several hours and later had trouble eating.

These three have now improved and are in non-life-threatening condition.

According to Bellingcat, a European exploration media, the three people who showed symptoms of poisoning only ate chocolate and water a few hours before the onset of symptoms.

Also, after the meeting, he developed symptoms of poisoning at the Kiev hostel that night, and then went to Poland and Istanbul the next day via Lviv.

Sources suspect it was an attack by Moscow hardliners trying to sabotage talks aimed at ending the war.

Western experts who investigated the case said it was difficult to determine whether the suspected poisoning symptoms were biological, chemical, or caused by a series of electromagnetic attacks.

The Kremlin did not respond to comments on the matter.
