Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 announced mid-to-high position Redmi realme is the first choice

Qualcomm recently released the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor, which is the successor model of the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 1 launched last year, and is also targeting mid-to-high flagship smartphones. Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 uses TSMC’s 4nm process technology and includes a 2.91GHz Cortex X2 core, three 2.49GHz Cortex A710 performance cores and four 1.80GHz Cortex A510 energy-saving cores.

Compared to the previous generation Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, Qualcomm claims that the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 CPU configuration can provide a 50% performance increase. As for the Adreno image processor whose actual model has not been revealed, it also has twice the improvement in performance and saves power by 13% in different scenarios. The new processor integrates the Snapdragon X62 5G Modem, supports 4G and 5G dual card dual connection, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 connections.

Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 supports the highest QHD + screen resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and Dolby Vision, HLG and HDR10+ formats. Its 18-bit triple ISP supports the 200MP camera sensor, and there are two lenses that record HDR video at the same time. In addition, the processor also has Snapdragon Elite game function and Snapdragon Sound music function, and supports aptX lossless music streaming. Qualcomm revealed that the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 will be available in March, and the Redmi Note 12 Turbo and Realme GT Neo 5 SE will be launched in China before the end of the month.
