Social Security Office Receives State Award for Public Management Excellence

Mr. Bunsong Tapchaiyut, Secretary General of the Social Security Office, along with Ms. Nuntinee Supsiri, an efficiency consultant for the office, proudly accepted the state award plaque titled “Professional Public Management Quality 4.0, Advanced Level.” The ceremony, held at the 2023 Academic Seminar and Awards Ceremony, was overseen by Professor Emeritus Dr. Wissanu Krea-ngam. Taking place at the prestigious Grand Diamond Ballroom in the Impact Forum Building, Muang Thong Thani, Nonthaburi Province, this event celebrated excellence in public management.

Sharing his thoughts on the achievement, Mr. Bunsong Tapchaiyut expressed the Social Security Office’s dedication to cultivating organizational excellence and adhering to the Public Sector Management Quality Award (PMQA) criteria. Their goal is to enhance operational management and elevate work standards to meet international benchmarks. Remarkably, the office has consistently been recognized by the Office of the Public Sector Development Commission (OCDC).

“In the fiscal year 2023, the Social Security Office demonstrated outstanding quality and was honored with the Government Management Quality Award 4.0, Advanced Level. This success is attributed to the unity and cooperation of our entire organization, guiding us towards excellence,” said the Secretary General.

Looking ahead, the Social Security Office is preparing to celebrate its 33rd anniversary and is eager to embark on its 34th year and beyond with a clear focus on achieving a government management quality development award across all categories. They are determined to maintain a high-quality system by enhancing the efficiency of government operations through innovative technology and creative solutions. Their ultimate aim is to transition to “Government System 4.0,” characterized by an open and connected government centered around the needs of the people. By synergizing sectors, fostering innovation, and embracing digital transformation, the Social Security Office aims to uphold good governance for the benefit and trust of the people, ensuring reliable insurance coverage.
