The tsunami that reached the Pacific coast has caused damage such as capsizing of moored fishing boats at multiple ports in Kochi Prefecture.
According to the Kochi Coast Guard Vessel, as of 8:30 am on the 16th, three moored fishing boats sank at Sakihama Port in Muroto City. Damages such as capsizing of multiple ships have also occurred at the ports of Shimanto Town and Toyo Town.
