[아이뉴스24 홍수현 기자] Suspicion has been raised that Freesia (Jia Song), who is gaining great popularity through Netflix’s entertainment program ‘Solo Hell’, wore fake products, so-called ‘fakes’, rather than genuine products.
Recently, online communities and various social media platforms such as YouTube, criticize whether the products that Freesia wore are genuine.
Song Jia has often installed luxury goods on her YouTube and broadcasts. As Song Ji-ah’s popularity grew, interest in her fashion rose, and controversy over whether it was genuine or not.
The V-brand necklace that Song Ji-ah wears is priced at 5.7 million won, but some pointed out that the design itself is different and the connection between the chain and the pendant is different.
The C brand cropped t-shirt, which became famous after Black Pink member Jennie first wore it, was discontinued as a Chanel vintage line in the 1990s. Jenny has revealed that she inherited it from her mother. The cropped T-shirt is worn by Jenny, and many fakes have been released on the market, and if Song Ji-ah didn’t buy something in the 1990s, getting a new one is like picking a star in the sky.
Allegations of wearing fakes were raised in the broadcast. Company D’s pink tube top that Song Jia wore in ‘Solo Hell’ turned out to be a design that Company D had never released at all. This product looks similar to the one currently being sold at an online clothing shopping mall for 16,000 won.
The reason Song Ji-ah is criticized for wearing fakes and ‘fakes’ is that he has publicly stated that it is his dream to launch his own brand.
Some netizens defended Song Jia because she was just interested in fashion, but the majority of netizens said, “It is wrong for a person who wants to launch their own brand to wear fakes proudly. There is a lack of awareness of intellectual property rights. ” he criticized.
Song Ji-ah’s side has not yet released an official position on the matter.
