English Premier League (EPL) Manchester United are news that Ralph Rangnick Lokomotiv Moscow (Russia) sports director will be recruited on a short-term contract to fill a vacant managerial position.
British media ‘The Athletic’ reported on the 26th (Korean time), “Man United have agreed to a short-term coaching contract with sports director Rangnick, who is called the ‘father of German modern football’. An official announcement will follow soon.”
Rangnick has been a leader for over 20 years, leading SC Cove, Reutlingen, Stuttgart, Schalke 04, Hoffenheim, and Leipzig (above Germany). After that, he went to Salzburg (Austria) and worked as a sports director at Lokomotiv, where he was improving Lokomotiv’s constitution.
Coach Rang Ning is highly regarded as a leader who has deep tactical knowledge and gives a clear philosophy to the team, and has the nickname ‘soccer professor’.
The media added, “Rangnick will serve as a manager for the remaining six months, and then take on a team consulting role for two years. Currently, Rangnick has accepted Manchester United’s offer and is waiting for a UK work visa.”
On the other hand, Manchester United are running the team as acting manager Michael Carrick after sacking manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on the 21st.
