Some injuries were reported after fire in senior living apartments in West Virginia



LEWISBURG, WV – Firefighters were called to battle a flame at Lewisburg Manor, a senior residential apartment complex on Thursday.

According to Lewisburg Fire Chief, Joseph Thomas, the fire on the third floor was in the 102 room complex but the fire is there.

Chief Executive Thomas stated that some injuries had been reported and the victims were being transported to district hospitals.

According to Chief Thomas, everyone who lives in the complex needs to move because of safety precautions. An emergency shelter is being established.
