"Movies that meet close to home"

Remembering Dr. Rox When?

By: RLSchwinden aka MrZerr0: Article # 104 November-2019

For RadiO WFNU St. Paul, MN.

As I am writing these articles back to April 2011, I usually composed music artists. As I currently have 3 different Radio Music shows, “ShowoGello Show” on WDGY 7am Sunday & “Satisfaction” on WFNU 8am Friday & Wednesday. noon & Hits and History by year on every 3rd Monday, which is about to go weekly. I thought I could start focusing on my 2nd Love, Movies, especially since I am confused by many people as a Video Games & Comics man (sorry people, MUST), really really is Music, Movies & Guy I Toys. Now I am in various local movies: "Attack Of The Moon Zombies" 2011. "The Spant Spider" 2013, "Not Quite Lying Eyes" 2013 "Lake Street Detective" 2017 "Guns Of The Apocalypse" 2018, in 2019 "Beast" Walks include Us "and the" Adjust Your Tracking "documentary 2013, as well as taking part in some other" Wilson "Ghost" & "Destination Outer Space"

Now I really love physical media specifically CDs & DVDs, I won't give them up, they'll always have me, even when your streaming is down. I listen to them and I look at them over and over. Here are a few films that hit close to your home for MrZerr0.

"High Loyalty"

March 2000: John Cusack, Iben Hjejle, Todd Louiso

Love story of terrestrial owner DJ Rob Gordon, and what he is working in an independent record repository. This story was so true and close to me, many people I knew, who I really knew, wrote that I wrote this script, or at least Cusack took the story of my life. I just met Cusack, I was so excited to meet him and discuss my story about his fascinating film, alas.

"Imperial Records"

October 1995: Anthony LaPaglia, Debi Mazar, Robin Tunney

A day of staff trials and suspicions on an independent record repository. This is enough as he worked in a shop that I was asst. Mr. in W. Des Moines, Iowa. Factually established in the mid-1990s most of the Inde's shops were closed or bought out by the remaining "chain companies".

"What You Do"

October 1996: Tom Hanks, Liv Tyler, Steve Zahn

Story about "The Wonders" the "One Wonder Hit; Garage Bands" was then typical as played by Robbinsdale himself "The Trashmen".

"This is the Spinal Tap"

March 1984: Michael McKean, Christopher Guest, Harry Shearer

A documentary about the "Spinal Tap" band in its aging glory. I have personally lived with many of these cases with the bands; "High Fever" "KISSin Time &" NeVeR DiE DiEE DiE "

"Almost Famous"

September 2000: Billy Crudup, Frances McDormand, Patrick Fugit

A story about Russel Hammond going on the road when there are famous bands of the day. It is heavily based on Cameron Crowe's life adventures to be on the road with the Allman Bros.

"Rock star"

September 2001: Mark Wahlberg, Jennifer Aniston, Dominic West

The story of the hometown of Izzy Cole who joins the famous band "Dragon Dragon" based heavily on singer Ripper Owens who joins Judas Priest, as well as Tommy Thayer doing KISS.

September 1992: Bridgette Fonda, Kyra Segdwick, Matt Damon

A look at the self-imposed life plays have been 20 years at the time of the "Grunge Scene" in Seattle. I knew that a lot of people like this were back then, they seem to be the worst enemies.

"Private Parts"

March 1997: Howard Stern, Mary McCormack, Paul Giamatti

Story of the long road to stardom to give Jock Shock Howard Stern. I was very happy with Stern the first time I ever heard it in the Phoenix air on WXRK radio.

"Play Misty For Me"

November 1971: Clint Eastwood, Jessica Walter Donna Mills

DJ Dave Garver must deal with delusional fans who have lapsed with him. I met a few women as "Evelyn Draper" in my years on this planet.

"Ladies Man"

October 2000: Tim Meadows: Kayrn Parsons, Billy Dee Williams

DJ Leon Phelps's foreign adventures were due to his weakness for women and false honesty. Um, a bit like myself. Meadows is one of my favorite actors.

October 1988: John Cusack, Tim Robbins, Sam Moore & Jr. Walker

Story about 2 High School grades trying to do it in the video business. I met Sam Moore in St Paul's in 2005, not to say I was a big fan.

"Virgin 40 Years"

August 2005: Steve Carell, Catherine Keener, Paul Rudd

A story that Andy has to decide to give up his vintage toy collection or to have his girlfriend for the first time.

"Ghost World"

September 2001: Thora Birch, Scarlett Johansson, Steve Buscemi

Story 2 high-grade slaves entering the world after school and collect the world of 78 Record. This is the first time I saw Johansson, I knew she would be a big star. My host Asst. Mr> brought this film as I reminded her that Seymor was there.

"Nick And Norah Endless Checklist"

October 2008: Michael Cera, Kat Dennings, Ari Graynor

A story of how Norah falls in love with Nick because of the CDs he makes with his former girlfriend "Cera is one of my favorite actors."

"The Wrestler"

January 2009: Mickey Rourke, Marisa Tomei, Evan Rachel Wood

A real-life story about what really seems to be half-famous, and not to introduce tons of money. In 1976 Paul Stanley from KISS was asked "How is it like to be rich and famous" Paul's Response "Well, I know what it is like to be famous" When I loved Marisa, I liked so much of me Tomei movies.

So you folks, check out em if you want. Listen next time when you can read me in the starz. mZ
