Two hours after the law enforcement community of Tallahassee came together to seek a renewed attempt to tackle the city's rash of violence, another person was hiding in the light of the whole day.
The most recent killing occurred when police were called to French town at about 1 p.m. Tuesday.
A 911 caller reported having difficulty breathing him on corner Gibbs Drive and Alice Jackson Lane, but when Tallahassee Police came to help emergency medical officers, they found a man with earth-gun.

He died again in hospital.
The yellow crime scenic tape included a number of blocks behind Sheffield Body Shop on the 4th Avenue east to a wooded area behind a small convenience store where the investigators appeared to be focused.
There were people who saw the man on the ground behind the body shop attracted. Few people provided details of what happened before they saw emergency officers coming and assisting the person.
Few after 2 pm, TPD announced that the victim was "compliant with their injuries."
The police did not provide any other details, including the victim's name, age or gender. TPD does not release any information about victims, referring to his interpretation of Marsy's Law.
Investigators examined the area looking for witnesses and evidence of what could lead to the shooting or who might be responsible. The investigation is active and ongoing.

"It was a very serious crime scene," said Damba Miller, TPD spokesman, who addressed the ongoing violence in the city.
"We're trying our best to prevent violence but unfortunately this is still happening. We don't want any crime at all; there is too much crime and it's sad that someone has lost their lives." . "

Tuesday 's event marks the 29th shooting this year, analysis and map produced by Tallahassee Democrat. Twenty seven people were injured and five were killed in two guns this year.
Sheriff Leon County's Office, at a news conference 11, announced a renewed initiative to prevent the shooting rash in the city. Having said “violence will not be tolerated,” Sheriff Walt McNeil outlined a plan that focused on co-operation among law enforcement, religious and service providers.
