Uruguay’s 1st match continues to flow
FIFA recreates and distributes to participating countries
The captain’s arm band, which made Son Heung-min, the captain of the Korean national football team, uncomfortable throughout the match, will be replaced.
According to the Korea Football Association (KFA) on the 26th, it was reported that FIFA will remake the captain’s armband and distribute it to all 32 participating countries. Korea is expected to receive it tomorrow, the day before the game.
Son Heung-min started in the first leg of the Qatar 2022 World Cup Group H group stage against Uruguay held at Al Rayyan Education City Stadium in Qatar on the 24th. According to the rules, the captain’s armband was worn on the upper left arm, but it was too loose and slipped down.
He corrected it and put it in place, but it bothered Son Heung-min every time he ran. Son Heung-min changed his arms during the game, but he was as good as new. I even ran with my hands on it.
The situation with other teams was similar. Goalkeeper Manuel Neuer (Bayern Munich), Germany’s captain, had his arms taped in the match against Japan on the 23rd.
