[헤럴드경제=조범자 기자] Son Heung-min cleared concerns about a hamstring injury by normalizing his team Tottenham’s training.

Tottenham Hotspur’s official SNS on the 25th (Korean time) released a photo of Son Heung-min running with Lucas Mora during team training.

Son Heung-min’s left hamstring injury, which had a history of injury in the past, was raised in the second round of the English Premier League (EPL) against Wolverhampton on the 22nd.

Heung-min Son, who taped the back of his left thigh after talking with the medical staff before the game, showed an uncomfortable gait when replaced by Harry Kane in the second half. Tottenham manager Nunu Ispiritu Santo also mentioned the possibility of Son Heung-min’s injury at a press conference after the match.

As a result, dark clouds seemed to be cast not only for the team but also for the national team ahead of the 2022 Qatar World Cup Asian final qualifiers.

However, the Korea Football Association said through several channels that it had confirmed that there were no major abnormalities in Son’s physical condition, and then, as photos of him participating in team training were released, concerns about injuries were removed.

Meanwhile, Son Heung-min, who had a video meeting with the students of the Korean School in London that day, said, “I was happy to be able to talk with the students and give advice and tips about what inspired me to become a soccer player. Nice poster for good luck. And thank you for giving me the card.”

Tottenham Hotspur invited Pasus de Pereira (Portugal) to their home in the early morning of the 27th to play the second leg of the UEFA Europa Conference League playoffs.
