A Malayalee who got Rs 30 crore in the Abu Dhabi Big Ticket draw has been found. Sanoop Sunil, an employee of the Lulu Group in Doha, won more than 30 crore rupees (15 million dirhams) in the 230th series draw of the Big Ticket yesterday (Tuesday). The prize is a lottery ticket in Sanoop’s name drawn by him and 19 others. Sunil, a native of Ernakulam, took the ticket number 183947 online on July 13 and brought luck.
Sanoop is also the son-in-law of film actor Harishree Ashokan. It took a long time for the organizers to contact Sanoop. Ticket organizer Richard called Sanoop’s mobile several times but could not be reached at first.
In other draws held yesterday, Malayalee Johnson Kunjukunju won 10 lakh dirhams and Indian Reynold Daniel won 100,000 dirhams.
