Actress Song Ji-hyo (42) and her agency Woojurox agreed to terminate the exclusive contract after six months. On the 24th, Woojurox announced its official position on the agreement to terminate the exclusive contract with Song Ji-hyo.

Previously, on the 5th, Woojurox was suspected of not paying the salaries of its workers and artists. At the time, Woojurox explained, “All salaries and four large insurance payments were paid to those who left the company. Salaries will be paid to those still employed,” and “There will be a quarterly artist settlement under the company also be done at the scheduled time.”

However, on the 14th, Song Ji-hyo’s side informed the agency of the termination of the exclusive contract, saying that they had lost trust.

Regarding this, Wujurox said, “Due to the new rapid expansion of the corporate entertainment field in the early days, we certainly did not pay attention to the detailed and important parts that we had to provide to our actors.”

“We recognize the company’s mistake in terminating the exclusive contract with Song Ji-hyo,” he said. “The company and Song Ji-hyo have not been together for a long time, but it was based on trust. We support Song Ji-hyo various activities.” he added.

Song Ji-hyo signed an exclusive contract with Ujurox in October last year. Ji Seok-jin, Lee Hyun-woo, Oh Man-seok, Baek Ga, etc. belong to Woojurox.
