Sony earlier released the new entry-level HT-A3000 one-piece soundbar overseas, today it was officially announced that it will be introduced to Hong Kong together with the mid-range HT-A5000, and that it will start pre-sales tomorrow . Interested friends can check out the specs and technology first, and then go to the store to test it for themselves before making a decision.
First up is the mid-range model HT-A5000, which has 5.1.2 channels, a built-in subwoofer and up-firing speakers, and is capable of reproducing Dolby Atmos and DTS:X 3D spatial sound effects with a single soundbar . . In addition, it can be used with the optional rear and subwoofers, as well as the Bravia XR TV’s unique center speaker design, and then through its own 360 Spatial Sound Mapping technology to achieve a better sound positioning effect.

The entry-level HT-A3000 is a 3.1-channel all-in-one soundbar, which can simulate the lack of speaker sound up by combining Vertical Surround Engine and S-Force PRO Front Surround sound technology, so it can still support Dolby Atmos and DTS: 3D spatial sound for X. Like the A5000, it can be used with an optional rear and subwoofers to enhance the surround feeling.
The Sony HT-A5000 and A3000 will be available for sale tomorrow, September 29th to October 30th, for HK$7,990 and HK$4,990 respectively There will be HK$300 and HK$200 supermarket coupons for the early bird. If ordered along with designated rear speakers and subwoofers, each model will receive up to an additional HK$600 supermarket voucher.
