Ganguly’s tweet came on Wednesday evening, hinting that he was about to enter a new chapter. The tweet was sparked by a tweet saying that he was planning to start a new venture that would benefit the people.

He added that the rumors circulating around Ganguly were false and that there was a big opportunity ahead of the board, adding that he and other colleagues on the board were “excited about this opportunity to focus on securing the future of Indian cricket”.

Earlier, Ganguly shared a post on social media asking for people’s support for his new venture in life. The former Indian captain’s announcement comes on the thirtieth anniversary of his debut in international cricket.
