Sourav Ganguly Tweet on New Chapter of his life hints BCCI President likely to Join BJP | Sourav Ganguly Tweet: Will Ganguly become BJP Bengal unit president? Discussion following the star’s tweet

Kolkata Former Indian captain and BCCI president Sourav Ganguly is set to enter a new chapter in his undisclosed career after 30 years. The actor himself tweeted that he was starting a new chapter in his life. This was followed by discussions as to whether the former Indian captain was preparing to enter politics.

“The journey with cricket that started in 1992 is 30 years old in 2022. So far cricket has given me a lot. Most importantly, cricket has given me the support of all of you. I would like to thank each and every person who was a part of my journey. Today, I plan to start something new that I think will help more people. I hope you will support me as I enter another chapter of my life “Sourav Ganguly shared on Twitter

Doubts have been raised as to which party the chairman of the Indian Cricket Board will join if the player intends to enter politics through his tweets. As the most prominent face in Bengal, if the star’s decision is a political entry, it will create another news earthquake. So the news is that either the TMC or the BJP, the major parties in Bengal, are currently waiting for someone to bring the star to their camp.

Ganguly’s political entry has been discussed in various quarters for the past few days. Last month, Union Home Minister Amit Shah hosted a dinner at Ganguly’s house in Bengal. Along with Amit Shah, BJP leaders from Bengal Swapan Dasgupta and Amit Malviya were also present at Ganguly’s house for dinner. Later, it was reported that Ganguly would join the BJP.

But after this, Ganguly had a dinner meeting with Trinamool Congress leaders. Ganguly had said that the Chief Minister of Bengal was someone he knew personally. The BCCI president had also denied reports that he would join the BJP on the same day. Ganguly, who has known Amit Shah personally since 2008, said he met occasionally while playing cricket but nothing more.

The BJP central leadership aims to make Ganguly the face of the Bengal BJP. At present, the BJP has the support of the people in Bengal but the lack of a face is engulfing the National Party. The ruling party aims to end the impunity of the TMC in the state by bringing the cult character of the people of Bengal into the party. If Ganguly goes to TMS now, he will only become a shadow of Mamata Banerjee.

Meanwhile, Indian Cricket Board (ICB) secretary Jay Shah has said that Ganguly has not resigned from the post of BCCI chairman, ANI reported. There are many who are waiting for Ganguly’s surprise to be something other than the star’s political entry.
