DELAND, Fla. (FOX 35 ORLANDO) – Police in South Florida are looking for a missing woman who took a trip to DeLand.
Valentina Arango appeared on August 18 at her house in Miramar.
The police say she left in Toyota Yaris in 2015 with the Florida Z01-AXB tag and she arrived in DeLand city at the Stetson University Hatter Hall on the same day, according to the GPS on her mobile phone.
Investigators say that the last transaction on the woman's debit card was made on 18 August at Sunoco gas station in DeLand, but no one said they had seen her at the gas station or at the Stetson campus.
The police say that the woman's mother spoke to her daughter two days later on 20 August and that no one had ever seen or spoken to her.
Anyone who is aware of the place of the woman is asked to call the Miramar Police Department, or DeLand's Police Department.
