County Broward's House of State House said "at the time of an oral assault" by a democratic state laureate from Orlando at a Saturday party meeting.
Representative Anika Omphroy wrote a letter to the Speaker of the GOP House Jose Oliva on Monday trying to investigate the fact that she said that "Mr Falle of Attack" was made by Mr. Carlos Guillermo Smith at a meeting of the Executive Committee Democratic at Rosen Center Hotel.
Smith, 38, said the letter was "stunned and confused" and that the alleged data was "simply false and not".
Omphroy, 40, a fresh fresh representative from Lough Lauderdale, wrote that "Smith" introduced me in a threatening and aggressive way when I sat on board with others. I was uncomfortable as [he] kneeled just in front of my legs, and at that point I was forced to reconcile myself because of my attire, which was a dress and a leg.
"Smith took his hand and sent me out with a barrage of humorous oral assaults, and a show of false attack in the presence of others who looked at her behavior," she continued. Smith accepted my movements because of his strategic arrangement for his body and body to sit before me. "
You have to tackle "Smith's bullying and beneficial behavior", Omphroy wrote to Oliva and in a letter almost identical to the House of Democratic Caucus.
"Smith's behavior showed me the dominance of my wife," she wrote. "This woman's behavior must be stopped. Women should not have any mental or emotional distress from anyone, irrespective of political affiliation, race or sexuality of the misuser . "
Smith, the first Cuban representative of open-haul in Florida, said in the Monday statement that he and Omphroy agreed that we had a conversation with us both in terms of an important issue. "
But Smith writes, "I moved from the exchange, which took place in a public space before an elected elected officer with a completely different understanding.
"I understand and care about how we talked about these important issues together as colleagues," Smith writes. "I went out already [her] and with the Speaker to have this dialogue and I hope he is interested in making a positive way. "
Mr Ana Eskamani, D-Orlando, said that the interaction saw, said Smith went to Omphroy to get a clear look at her statement and her knee.
"This was a simple conversation and a clear and clear meaning in a public room," said Eskamani. "No misuse occurred."
After that she posted a Twitter post that happened in a room with "100+ others".
However, she said, "I think it's very important that she and Carlos have a conversation … and that any concerns with her body language can be addressed. I know Carlos is doing the part the biggest to correct it. "
Democratic House Caucus spokeswoman Marisol Samayoa said Mr Democratic Leader, Kionne McGhee, would meet with Omphroy and Smith.
"We take all allegations of oral assault and serious harassment," said Samoyoa.
