Pyramids beats Al-Masry by two and officially qualifies for the Confederation quarter-finals


The Pyramids team led by the Croatian Ante Catchic won the Egyptian Port Said 2-0 in the match they gathered this evening, Sunday, at the Air Defense Stadium in the confrontations of the fourth round of the first group of the African Confederation Championship in its seventeenth edition.

Burkinabe Eric Traore scored the goal of progressing to Pyramids over the Port Said team in the 21st minute, then Nabil Emad Dunga scored the second goal for the Heavenly Team in the 71st minute from a missile, and the 43rd minute witnessed Abdullah Al-Saeed wasting a penalty that Pyramids got after blocking Dudu Al-Gabbas inside the penalty area .

With this victory, Pyramids won the qualification card for the quarter-finals of the African Confederation, after its group led with 12 points, and the Egyptian Port Said came in second with 6 points, while Nigerian Rangers and Nouadhibou of Mauritania are in third and fourth, each with one point.
