SSG, Japan’s 2nd spring camp Okinawa… 4 practice games with Lotte, Hanwha and Samsung

The second spring camp of Incheon SSG Landers, a professional baseball team, started on the 28th. In the second camp to be held in Okinawa, Japan, SSG plans to raise his sense of real combat and check his strength before the season opener.

The participants of the 2nd SSG camp, which left Incheon Airport this morning, included 17 coaching staff including coach Kim Won-hyung, 18 pitchers, 4 catchers, 8 outfielders, and 7 outfielders, a total of 37 people. Among the new players for 2022-2023 were Tae-Hyun Yoon and Rowoon Lee, who were nominated for the first round, as well as Hun-Min Shin, Young-Jin Song, and Jeong-Min Kim.

SSG will hold a total of four practice games against the Lotte Giants, Hanwha Eagles, and Samsung Lions in the second camp.

In addition, the program is conducted with a focus on raising the sense of real combat through his Cheongbaekjeon and his own training. With this, we are preparing for the exhibition game which will start on the 13th. The 2023 professional baseball regular season begins on April 1.

Meanwhile, the team is scheduled to return home on the afternoon of the 8th after the 2nd camp for 10 days.
