SSG Kim Kwang-hyun 6 innings 10K against Lotte… ERA 1st place

Kim Gwang-hyeon (34, SSG Landers), who returned to Korea this year, ranked first in ERA.

Kim Gwang-hyun started in a game against the Lotte Giants at Sajik Stadium in Busan on the 27th and threw 100 pitches, the most in a game this season, and blocked 6 innings with one run (visa fault).

Kim Kwang-hyun, who started for the 4th time in the season, succeeded in a quality start (more than 6 starting innings and less than 3 earned runs) in all games.

He also pitched 25 innings in 4 games, filling the regulation innings (22 innings) and entering the ERA ranking.

Kim Kwang-hyun further lowered his ERA from 0.47 to 0.36, pushing Lotte Giants’ Charlie Barnes (0.54) to second place and taking first place.

Kim Gwang-hyun allowed only two hits against Lotte, the team’s No. 1 batting average, and struck out a whopping 10.

But the infield defense was a problem.

Kim Kwang-hyeon allowed the lead with two infield errors in the bottom of the second inning.

However, Kim Kwang-hyun blocked all 3rd and 5th innings with a three-way attack, and tied the Lotte line with no-hit until the end of the 5th.

Kim Kwang-hyun gave the first hit to leading hitter Chi-hong Ahn in the bottom of the 6th inning, but he took a breather by cooking Jeong-hun with a blow to shortstop.

The next hitter, Han Dong-hee’s batted ball hit the top of the middle fence and came down to a double, and another crisis came.

However, Kim Kwang-hyun sent Dae-ho Lee to a deliberate walk and finished his mission by dealing with DJ Peters as a shortstop grounder in the second and second bases that followed.

Kim Kwang-hyeon was substituted in a 1-1 match and finished the day without a win or loss.
