President Yoon Seok-yeol led a large-scale economic delegation on his first foreign trip in the new year for 8 days and 6 nights.

Last night, President Yoon Seok-yeol and his party arrived in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates, their first stop.
This is the first state visit since the two countries established diplomatic relations in 1980.
Four fighter jets from the United Arab Emirates escorted Air Force Unit 1 on both sides, and three ministerial-level figures welcomed them at the airport.
President Yoon said he would use cooperation with the United Arab Emirates in areas such as energy, building infrastructure, and health as a springboard for a leap forward.

Starting today, we will embark on a full tour schedule, starting with a summit meeting with President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
We will find and encourage the Ark unit, where the ROK army is deployed, and visit the Barakah nuclear power plant built by Korea to promote cooperation in nuclear power plants.
Ministers of economic departments, including Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Choo Kyung-ho and Industry Minister Lee Chang-yang, and about 100 economic delegations accompanied the trip, and about 30 memorandums are expected a mutual understanding for economic cooperation was signed.
President Yoon emphasized that the focus of this visit was on the economy.
As he said he would find a way out of this year’s economic crisis in exports, he plans to focus on ‘sales diplomacy’ during his visit.
