Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will host the 2021 film awards ceremony tomorrow at 6 pm at Thiruvananthapuram’s Nishagandhi Auditorium. The Chief Minister will present the JC Daniel Award to director KP Kumaran and the first Lifetime Achievement Award to former journalist Sasikumar for lifetime contribution to television. Culture Minister VN Vasavan will preside.

Bijumenon, Joju George, Actress Revathi, Director Dileesh Pothan, Best Film Director Krishand RK, Popular Film Director Vineeth Srinivasan, Adapted Script Award Shyam Pushkaran, Editor Mahesh Narayanan, Cinematographer Madhu Neelakanthan, Lyricist BK Minister VN Vasavan said that 50 people including Harinarayanan receiving awards from the Prime Minister.

The book containing the details of the 2021 film awards will be released by Public Education and Employment Minister V Sivankutty to Transport Minister Antony Raju. The directory ‘Malayalam Cinema Naalvahikal’ was released by Food and Civil Supplies Minister GR Anil and VK Prashant are given to MLA.

Gayathri, Najeem Arshad, Pradeep Kumar who won Best Playback Singer 2021, Hisham Abdul Wahab who won Music Director, Vineeth Srinivasan, director and singer of the hit film, Rajalakshmi, Sooraj Santhosh, Sangeeta Srikanth and Ruparevathy at the Sound of Music hosted by Bijibal after the award ceremony. , Soumya Ramakrishnan and others will sing songs.
