According to the Cabinet resolution on October 19, 2021, it agreed and approved an increase in the amount of support for measures to reduce the cost of living and recover the economy from the impact of COVID-19. Credit limit for purchasing goods from the Blue Flag shop at an economical price to develop the local economy and the cost of purchasing goods or service fees from stores or service providers participating in the project, half of each person, phase 3, an additional 300 baht per person per month for a period of 2 months from November – December 2021

The Comptroller General’s Department would like to clarify about the payment to the state welfare card during December 2021 as follows:

Every 1st day of the month (cannot withdraw into cash and not accumulated in the following month)

  • The purchase limit is 700/800 baht per month (the original limit is 200/300 baht and the credit line from the purchasing power project is 500 baht).
  • Discount on cooking gas 45 baht per 3 months
  • Travel expenses include
    Bus fare: 500 baht per month
    Train fare 500 baht per month
    Fares for BMTA/ MRT/ BTS and ARL 500 baht per month (for holders of government welfare cards residing in Bangkok and its vicinity)

Every 18th day of the month (can be withdrawn into cash and can be accumulated in the following month)

  • Electricity rebate not more than 315 baht per household per month
    (For cardholders that uses electricity not more than 315 baht per month)
  • Water bill refund 100 baht per household per month
    (For cardholders Those who use tap water not more than 315 baht per month will receive a refund of tap water not more than 100 baht.
    The amount in excess of 100 baht is the cardholder to pay by himself/herself.)

  • Additional allowance for disability allowance 200 baht per month

The project to increase purchasing power for people with welfare cards of the state, phase 3, aims to help and mitigate the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic for low-income groups. In addition, it will continue to revitalize the economy in the fourth quarter of 2021 due to the increase in domestic consumption.
