Stock up on the number of elements… Prices skyrocketed 2-3 times – Maeil Economic Daily

With only one or two months’ worth of ‘Urea’ stock left at domestic urea water producers, stockpiling of urea water is continuing around domestic gas stations and large supermarkets. Companies are trying to find elements outside of China, but they say that it is difficult to find alternatives because there is a shortage of elements all over Asia.

According to the logistics and automobile industry on the 29th, the price of urea water in Korea jumped from 60% to as high as 300% in two weeks after China restricted urea exports.

As a result of checking about 30 gas stations in Seoul this morning, Maeil Business News found that the price of urea water remaining in stock reached a minimum of 16,000 won and a maximum of 26,000 won based on 10 liters. In general, considering that the price for 10 liters of urea was 8,000 to 13,000 won, it almost doubled. It is also sold for 30,000 to 40,000 won online. An official at a gas station in Seoul said, “The number of people looking for the number of urea has increased five times more than usual.
