[Story포토] ‘All-new Range Rover’, as comfortable as first class on an airplane

Jaguar Land Rover Korea pre-released the all-new Range Rover, a completely changed Land Rover flagship SUV, at the Seoul Auction Gangnam Center on the 24th.

The mild hybrid (MHEV) model and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) model will be unveiled first, and the pure electric (BEV) model will be released in 2024 according to the Reimagine strategy.

Land Rover implemented a modern luxury design by minimizing the seams and boundaries of the all-new Range Rover.
On the side, the door and glass are connected seamlessly, and Range Rover’s trademark signature side graphic is perfectly connected to the door and one surface.

All trims are equipped with high-definition digital LED headlights with a beam range of up to 500 m.
Adaptive Front Lighting uses dynamic light projection technology to optimize the downward beam and shape the beam pattern according to precise driving conditions such as vehicle speed, environment, and traffic conditions.

Based on the wheelbase, which is 75 mm longer than the previous model, it provides ample space even for the first seven-seater third-row seat. The third row seat is a stadium seat style that is designed 41 mm higher than the front seats, providing a sense of openness and visibility. In addition, 864mm of legroom completes the journey more comfortably for all passengers.

For the Korean market, Land Rover jointly developed T-map mobility and T-map navigation from the early stage of vehicle development and installed it in the PIVI Pro.

There are three types of powertrain: in-line 6-cylinder gasoline and diesel engines and V8 gasoline engines. The 6-cylinder lineup uses a mild hybrid system to increase efficiency by 5% compared to the previous one, and a twin-scroll turbocharger is applied to enhance responsiveness. The 4.4-liter V8 twin-turbo engine applied for the first time in the brand produces a maximum output of 530 horsepower and a maximum torque of 76.5 kg.

Inside the vehicle, a new Versatile Loadspace Floor is provided to enhance ease of use. The smartly designed floor panels can be partitioned by lifting the mid-point of the loadspace forward. This allows you to keep things within easy reach when loading or unloading small items.

Detailed specifications and selling prices of the all-new Range Rover products released in Korea will be announced at a later date.
