Strange catch again. Sam Billings with a foot catch this time

New Zealand were all out for 326 in the second innings of the third Test against England. New Zealand set a target of 296 for victory. On the fourth day of the match, strange things happened. Wicketkeeper-batsman Sam Billings made a bizarre catch to dismiss New Zealand pacer Neil Wagner.

Neil Wagner went to the wicket keeper for the edge off Jack Leach’s ball. But Sam Billings, who came in to replace the wicket-keeper Ben Fox, who was a Kovid positive, could not contain his hand. The catch seemed to go down but he was safe with his feet and looked at the ball not going down.

He then effortlessly picked up the ball in his hands. Neil Wagner, who faced 5 balls, did not score a run. This is the second time in the match that Jack Leach has taken a strange wicket.
