Dubai: The organizers announced in a press conference that ‘Lulu Ponnonam’ organized under the aegis of Malayalee groups will be held in Dubai Al Nasser Lesherland on Sunday. In the morning, the celebrations will start with a flower field competition from different groups.
More than 3000 people will participate in the Onasadya. In the afternoon, the procession celebrating Mahabali, which brings together the folk and temple arts of Kerala, will also include Theiyam, Chendamelam, Panchavadyam, Kavadiyattam and Karakattam. Eminent personalities will participate and speak in the cultural gathering in the evening. In the ensuing mega stage show, film star Manoj K. About 20 artistes will perform under the guidance of Jayan.
Music director Gopi Sundar, singer Amrita Suresh, young singer Rituraj, Afzal, Akhila Anand, Vaishnav Girish, Lakshmi Jayan, Riyas Kariad, Meryl Ann Mathew, Sudhir Paravoor and Diana Hameed have prepared the ensemble of songs, dance performances and mime. The organizers have made it clear that the dances of the jazz rockers team have also been prepared. Lulu Ponnonam Convener Sudhir Mohammad, Sunil Assistant Convener, Lulu Marketing Head Rahul Saxena, Karim Venkitang, Yesudas Priyadarshini and others participated in the press conference.
