Surya moved from Chennai to Mumbai with his family and acquired a luxury flat worth 70 crores. Surya owns the flat in an area where big businessmen and movie stars live in Mumbai. The area of the residence is 9000 square feet. Near the apartment there is a private garden and parking space for several cars.
Arrangements have been made in the flat for the arrival of father, mother and brother and actor Karthi from Chennai. This is where children’s birthdays and other family gatherings are held. Surya has reportedly moved to Mumbai along with her family for her daughter Diya’s education. Meanwhile, Suriya and Jyatika’s production company 2D Entertainment is looking for Bollywood. 2D Entertainment has produced the Bollywood version of Sudha Konkara’s Surarai Potrin starring Surya.
