Swapna suresh did not take allegations against party cpm leaders into consideration

Swapna’s allegations were leveled against Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and his family, IAS officer Sivashankar, former ministers TM Thomas Isaac, Katakampally Surendran and former Speaker P. Sriramakrishnan.

Thiruvananthapuram: The CPM has taken the stand that it need not respond to the allegations made against senior CPM leaders including Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, accused in the gold smuggling case, Swapna Suresh. The CPI, the second largest party in the Left Front, also agrees with this position.

Swapna made allegations against Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and his family, IAS officer Sivashankar, former ministers TM Thomas Isaac, Katakampally Surendran and former Speaker P. Sriramakrishnan. However, the position of both parties is that action can only be taken on the basis of the credibility of the allegations and the person who made them. Their position is that only the allegations that Swapna has been making for a long time are still being leveled against the Prime Minister and his family.

At the same time, a woman filed a case alleging physical violence and harassment against Congress Member of Parliament Eldos Kunnapilil. They are also of the opinion that the situation is not related to Swapna’s allegations. However, the opposition parties, including the Congress, are of the opinion that the CPM cannot avoid its moral responsibility to answer the allegations against those in positions of power. The Congress leaders also point out that when the case came against their MLA, they asked for an explanation and stopped it. However, they criticize the CPM for failing to fulfill such moral responsibility.

Last day, KPCC leaders demanded that a case be registered based on Swapna’s allegations. They accused the CPM, which had filed cases against its leaders based on the allegations made by the accused in the solar case, Saritha, and kept silent by saying that she is the accused in the smuggling case Swapna’s gold. Pinarayi Vijayan and CPM, who find credibility in the allegations of the Solar case accused Saritha and are still hunting the opposition leaders, criticize that it is a double standard to say that there is no credibility in the allegations of Swapna, the person accused in the gold smuggling case.
