Syed Mushtaq Ali | Shah Rukh Khan as Tamil Nadu hero; You can see the sixes in the last ball

New Delhi: While Syed Mushtaq Ali retained the T20 title in Tamil Nadu, Shah Rukh Khan became the hero of Tamil Nadu. In the final against Karnataka, Shah Rukh Khan hit a six off the last ball. He scored 33 off 15 balls. After losing the toss and opting to bat, Karnataka scored 151 for seven in the allotted overs. In reply, Tamil Nadu won by six wickets in 20 overs. Sai Kishore (6) was not new.

This is the third time that Syed Mushtaq Ali of Tamil Nadu has won. In 2020, Tamil Nadu defeated Baroda to win the title. When the tournament debuted in 2006, Tamil Nadu won the title. Punjab was defeated then. In 2019, Karnataka won the title by defeating Tamil Nadu. It was also a revenge for the defeat of that day.

They needed 16 runs in the last over to win. Sai Kishore hit a boundary off the first ball of the innings by Pratik Jain. Single on the second ball. Shah Rukh came to strike. It takes 11 runs off four balls to win. Third ball wide. A run on the next ball.

Earlier, Abhinav Manohar (46) and Praveen Dubey (33) led Karnataka in the innings. Rohan Kadam (0), Manish Pandey (13), Karun Nair (18), BR Sarath (16) and J Sujith (18) are the outfielders. Darshan (0) was not out. Sai Kishore took three wickets for Tamil Nadu. Malayalee Sandeep Warrier has one wicket. Indian batsman T Natarajan took one wicket for 44 runs in four overs.
