MCOT launches new digital TV channel T Sports 7 under the Ministry of Tourism and Sports Trial broadcasting on MUX for 6 months, helping to strengthen revenue from digital terrestrial television network services
On August 4, 2021, Mr. Sirot Ratnamhattana, Director and Acting President of MCOT Public Company Limited revealed that MCOT is currently one of the licensees for digital terrestrial television network services.
It has installed 39 main TV broadcasting stations and 129 additional stations covering over 95% of the country’s households, or over 22 million households.
In the past, MCOT has had users of 3 digital terrestrial television networks, 2 of which are digital high definition television channels, namely Thairath TV, Channel 32 operated by Triple V Broadcast Company Limited and MCOT HD Channel 30, operated by MCOT Public Company Limited.
