Dubai | India lose to New Zealand in the 28th match of the World Cup T20 Super 12. This is India’s second consecutive defeat. Earlier in the day, New Zealand lost by eight wickets after losing by 10 wickets to Pakistan in the first match. India’s poor performance with the ball and the bat today.

India scored 110 for seven in 20 overs with 33 balls to spare, losing just two wickets in 14.3 overs. For New Zealand, Martin Guptill (20 off 17 balls), Daryl Mitchell (29 off 35 balls) and Kane Williamson (33 off 31 balls) were the top scorers. Jaspreet Boomra took two wickets for India. Ish Sodhi is the star of the game.

Earlier, India lost the toss and opted to bat, losing seven wickets for 110 runs in 20 overs. Team India, which had lost wickets in a row, did not come out of the match confident. Jadeja, who struggled in the final overs, looked likely to take the wicket with a poor shot selection even on the last ball. But Jadeja missed the catch.

For New Zealand, Trent Bolt took three wickets, Ish Sodhi two and Tim Southee and Adam Milne one each.
