T20 World Cup | Will Hardick be fired? Time to change Indian team till 15th of this month – News18 Malayalam

The final announcement of the Indian team for the T20 World Cup will be made only on the 15th of this month. The decision comes after the ICC explained that the teams that have qualified for the Super 12 stage will have to make an announcement within 15 days. The teams that have qualified for the Super 12 of the World Cup, including India, have been given five more days to submit their final list of 15-member squads.

The teams for the T20 World Cup were announced by the cricket boards, including the BCCI, last month, but the ICC approved the changes. Hardik Pandya and Rahul Chahar’s positions in the IPL are in doubt. The selectors, who included only three specialist pacers in the squad, had said that Hardik Pandya would bowl four overs in every match.

Hardik was included in the 15-member selection committee under Chetan Sharma in the hope of regaining fitness and resuming bowling. But Hardik has not bowled a single over for the Mumbai Indians in the IPL. The batsman also became a flop. Therefore, Hardick is more likely to be replaced.

There are indications that Shardul Thakur may be considered as a bowling all-rounder instead of Hardik. Another suggestion is to consider Bangalore spinner Yusvendra Chahal to replace Rahul Chahar, who did not even feature in the Mumbai team in the finals. Bhuvneshwar Kumar is likely to remain in the team despite a minor injury.

With Suryakumar Yadav and Ishant Kishan regaining form in the finals, there is no chance of change. The selection committee is also considering the possibility of including two or three more players without excluding anyone from the current team.

Tom Moody behind Lance Klusner; In the field for the coaching position of the Indian team

There are rumors that Ravi Shastri will step down as the coach of the Indian team after the T20 World Cup. Former Australian all-rounder Tom Moody has expressed interest in coaching the Indian team. Moody’s has revealed that former South African all-rounder Lance Klusner has expressed his desire to become India’s coach.

“India coach Ravi Shastri is set to step down after the T20 World Cup. – Reported by the Australian media Fox Sports.

Moody, 56, is currently the cricket director of Sunrisers Hyderabad and the Sri Lankan national team in the IPL. However, this is not the first time that India has expressed a desire to take over as coach. He had earlier applied to the BCCI to coach India three times, but his name was not considered by the Indian Cricket Board three times.
