TAG Heuer has unveiled the Year of the Rabbit TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph to celebrate the Year of the Rabbit in 2023.

Featuring three colours, black, red and gold, this product is sporty and has a design motif that evokes a new leap year. The Rabbit represents wisdom, prudence, skill, and positivity in the zodiac.
In addition, the entire work is accented with red, which has been the color of luck, joy, passion and boldness in China since ancient times. It is also associated with being a color with an element of fire, which makes it the perfect color to decorate the most revered spaces and properties.
The wavy pattern on the chronograph dial, which has a balanced tricompax design, is soft rabbit fur. An unprecedented line will give you a new surprise. The chronograph sub-counters at 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock are finished in azure, with structured concentric lines contrasting with light waves across the dial.
The base is a TAG Heuer Carrera chronograph with a diameter of 44mm. It features an elegant stainless steel case, a deep black fixed ceramic bezel with a tachymeter, and a specially designed dial. The 18K rose gold plated indexes, hour and minute hands are lacquered in dark red.
The Caliber Heuer 02 can be seen through the case back. Developed and manufactured in-house by TAG Heuer, this movement offers superior accuracy and timekeeping performance thanks to a vertical clutch and column wheel. With an 80-hour power reserve, it’s perfect for any lifestyle.
The caseback design has been fully adapted for this model, with a red rabbit figure printed in the center of the sapphire glass. Surrounding it are the special engravings “One of 500” and “Limited Edition,” denoting the limited edition.
The strap is smooth black calfskin with beige stitching, matching the rose gold dial. The Year of the Rabbit TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph is housed in a special box in the same deep red color as the watch. It features a gold-plated TAG Heuer shield on the top and closure, and a rabbit figure on the case. A special gold plate design and watch cushions line the inside of the case, which is covered in Alcantara in an anthracite color for a luxurious feel.
