Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has expanded its Taj InnerCircle–NeuPass loyalty programme through a new partnership with Etihad Guest, the loyalty programme of Etihad Airways, to offer enhanced travel and stay benefits to members across a global network of participating hotels.

The collaboration, announced by IHCL, integrates Taj InnerCircle–NeuPass with Etihad Guest to allow members to earn and redeem rewards seamlessly across both programmes, strengthening the hospitality group’s efforts to build a cross-brand, global rewards ecosystem.

According to IHCL’s official statement released on December 21, 2025, the partnership aims to provide Etihad Guest members with access to exclusive benefits at Taj InnerCircle–NeuPass participating hotels worldwide, while enabling NeuPass members to enjoy reciprocal advantages when travelling with Etihad Airways.

This development aligns with IHCL’s broader strategy to evolve its loyalty offering from a traditional points-based scheme into a more interconnected lifestyle and travel rewards platform housed within the Tata Neu super app. The Taj InnerCircle–NeuPass framework allows members to earn and redeem NeuCoins on eligible hotel stays, dining, spa treatments, and other experiences across IHCL’s brands—Taj, Vivanta, SeleQtions, and Ginger—when bookings are made through direct channels such as brand websites, the Tata Neu app, or reservation offices.

IHCL has emphasized that the programme encourages direct engagement with guests by ensuring that NeuCoins accrue only on qualifying spend, a approach designed to foster data-rich relationships and reduce reliance on third-party bookings.

The integration of Taj InnerCircle with NeuPass was initially designed to create a seamless loyalty experience across multiple Tata Group services, enabling members to earn and redeem rewards not only within IHCL hotels but also across a wider network of partner brands. This latest collaboration with Etihad Guest expands that vision into the global aviation sector.

IHCL’s managing director and chief executive officer, Puneet Chhatwal, has previously commented on similar partnerships, stating that alliances with global hospitality brands unlock synergies and create seamless experiences for members. While no direct quote from Mr. Chhatwal was included in the Etihad Guest announcement, his earlier remarks on collaborations with Shangri-La Circle and MyMillennium highlighted the importance of such alliances in delivering enduring value for guests and partners alike.

Shangri-La Circle, the loyalty programme of Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, operates 105 luxury hotels across 78 destinations worldwide, offering over 40,000 rooms across Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, North America, and Oceania. MyMillennium, the loyalty programme of Millennium Hotels & Resorts, also contributes to IHCL’s expanding global network of hospitality partners.

These partnerships collectively aim to enhance member value by providing seamless travel and stay benefits across a diverse portfolio of international hotels, reinforcing IHCL’s positioning in the competitive global loyalty landscape.

As of April 23, 2026, the Taj InnerCircle–NeuPass programme continues to evolve as a central component of IHCL’s strategy to cater to increasingly global and experience-focused travellers, moving beyond room discounts to offer broader lifestyle and travel rewards through strategic alliances.
