take the mistake and apologize; Congress captures Suresh; No Action | KPCC | Kerala News Congress | News from Kerala

The incident involving VD Savarkar’s photo on the banner put up in Ernakulam to welcome Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra was a major controversy. Later, the party took action against the leader. After admitting the mistake and publicly apologizing to Suresh, Nedumbaseri constituency secretary K. Sudhakaran said that there will be no party action against him. It was through Manorama News that Suresh admitted the mistake made due to his carelessness. Sudhakaran’s Facebook post shared a photo of the interview given to Manorama News.

He noted that the party could not ignore Suresh, who accepted the mistake and apologised, and that there was a request from the party workers that no action should be taken against Suresh.

The note reads:

Even though it happened unknowingly, the Congress party can’t help but see Suresh who took the mistake and apologized. I saw Suresh’s interview a little late on the channel. But many of the workers I had met earlier contacted me on the phone and offline. Even those who had no previous experience with Suresh approached him with a request ‘not to act against him’. I was actually very happy. The virtue of this party is to see the condition of a member of this great Congress family as its own problem. The party cannot ignore the workers and pretend that they do not see their feelings. As the party president, I can assure you that no action will be taken against Suresh.
