Tallahassee to run a Hemp Workshop

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) – People who are interested in learning more about Monday's hemp have the opportunity to do so.

State and local leaders in Leon County will host the final three hemp workshops.

WTXL spoke to a local CBD shop, or cannabiosa, about why this substance can bring light to many people.

Chris Pilato, General Manager of Tallahassee Region of Natural Life, "you are talking to anti-anxiety, anti-inflammatory, anti-nausea, a Analgesic, which means that pain relief is"

The people who use Hemp say there are many benefits and Monday, Commissioner Agat Nikki Fried will give education to those interested in learning more about the plant and the rules.

Commissioner Fried thinks that bone could be 20 to 30 billion dollars in the industry of the year … something that could help the economy if Governor Ron Desantis signs law.

"If the governor's office gets any of the phone calls we have received in the last five months, he will understand and support this law," he said.

People who use hemp say that many lives may change for the sake of state leaders pushing this legislation.

Chris Pilato, General Manager of Tallahassee's Natural Life Region, said, "I love these leaders pushing this field out to the people. I mean they are opening a whole life to people."

Public input is encouraged at a Monday workshop in Tallahassee.

Governor Desantis has until 29 June to act on the bill.

Those interested in attending the workshop can go to the R.A. Gray Sunshine at 9 a.m.
