Tallahassee's wife was killed in the Taylor County accident


Tallahassee's wife was killed and two others were injured during Sunday night in Taylor County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The accident occurred at approximately 9 p.m. after your lady was driving an SUV in the wrong lane on Byron Butler Parkway into another SUV, the FHP said.

Verity Coghill, 33, of Tallahassee, was driving north in a north lane when Chexrolet Trax hit driving south on Subaru Forester lane driving south in a north lane. The Coghill vehicle canceled in the accident.

Coghill was apprehended to Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare, where she was declared dead. Chevrolet driver, Katie Wimberly 34, was brought from Mayo, to the hospital with serious injuries. A passenger was given in Coghill vehicle, Brian Coghill, 52, of Tallahassee, to the hospital with serious injuries.

The FHP is investigating the accident.

Perry Police Department, Sheriff Taylor County's Office, Taylor County Emergency Medical Services and Taylor County Fire Rescue assisted the site.
