Mr. Chiruit Isarangkun Na Ayudhya, Director of Convention and Exhibition Office of Thailand (Public Organization) or TCEB revealed that TCEB together with the Army Tourism Authority of Thailand Sports Authority of Thailand Ministry of Culture and State Prachuap Khiri Khan Organize the annual Muay Thai Day 2023 or Festival Amazing Muay Thai 2023 between 4 and 6 February in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province.
There are 3 locations in total: 1. Rajabhakti Park 2. Suan Son Pradiphat and 3. Hua Hin area The aim of the event is to promote Thai martial arts or Muay Thai as one of the Soft Powers that reflect Thai identity on the stage of the world And it is an important tool to increase the value of the creative economy.
Mr Chiruit said that the highlight of the event is the Night of February 6 at Rajabhakti Park which will include Wai Kru Muay Thai and Mae Mai Muay Thai activities There will be participants from the Muay Thai Club, the military, people, foreigners, agencies from the public and private sectors , including TCEB, a total of 5,000 people interested in Muay Thai from more than 20 countries have accepted to attend this event.
TCEB is preparing to facilitate immigration through a special MICE Lane Service channel at the airport for World Boxing Council (WBC) participants, as well as allowing those interested in making Muay Thai history to register online through TCEB’s Biz Connect system, as well as preparing a joint exhibition at the event to publicize and create awareness about the Thai MICE industry among those attending the event to see interesting meeting avenues in the country.
