TEAM GROUP explains that a “new tropical storm” formed in the Pacific Ocean, which affects Thailand or not?

Mr Chawalit Chantararat, Director and Water Expert, TEAM GROUP and President of the Association of Consulting Engineers of Thailand Posted a message on Facebook Chawalit Chantararat stating that “A new tropical storm” formed inthe Pacific he is expected not to reach Thailand, he will go and doheavy rain to very heavy in the northern part of the Philippines and the island of Taiwan

In Thailand, between 5 and 10 June, there will be moderate rain. spreading throughout all regions of Thailand especially along the Thai border area adjacent to Burma, the east coast area and in the upper north-eastern region of the area adjacent to the Mekong River and there will be heavy rain in patches on the southern coast of Andaman from Ranong, Phang Nga, Krabi, Phuket and Trang

(1) An active low pressure cell in the pacific ocean is expected to formtropical storm and increasing strength toa typhoon expected to move west

  • On June 10, it will cause heavy rain. north of the philippines and change the direction of movement to the north and turn to move to the west
  • On June 13, induces and causes the low pressure cell in the South China Sea to strengthen. It is expected to cause heavy rain in Taiwan.
  • On June 14, it will dissolve in the sea. eastern Japan

(2) An active low pressure cell in the Bay of Bengal is expected to intensify. And moving slightly to the northeast will slowly make the monsoon winds covering Thailand become stronger. Between June 5 and 10, there will be moderate rain. spread throughout all regions of Thailand and there will be heavy rain in patches on the southern coast of Andaman O Ranong, Phang Nga, Krabi, Phuket and Trang provinces and moderate rainfall. along the Thai border area adjacent to Burma (and there is heavy to very heavy rain in central Burma)

(3) A low pressure cell in lower Vietnam. It will lead to moderate rain between 5 and 10 June. on the east coast, the central region and the upper north-eastern region, in areas close to the Mekong River (And there is heavy rain in Cambodia and the lower part of Vietnam)
