Team India breaks record; The 145-year-old record was broken

The Indian team has set a new record in the 145 – year history of Test cricket.
In the Cape Town Test against South Africa, India set a new record by taking all their wickets in two innings.

This is the first time a team has lost all 20 wickets in a Test match. Seven of the 20 catches were taken by South African wicketkeeper Kyle Verin. However, he has taken 19 wickets in five previous Tests.

With the third Test in Cape Town set to resume at 2 pm Indian time, South Africa needed 111 more runs to win. Chasing India’s target of 212, the hosts are now 101 for two. South Africa, with eight wickets in hand on both days, are on course to win the series.
