Epic Games has extended Fortnite Chapter 2: Season 1 and announced that it will move the game to the Chaos physical system of Unreal Engine.

Season 1 of Chapter 2 now ends for Fortnite players on Thursday, February 20. This is where Season 2 starts.

Before the end of the current season, you can expect additional overtime challenges and a new two-week event. More details will be announced at a later date.

Starting early next month, the development team will be moving the game to the Unreal Engine Chaos physical system. This will happen when the 11.50 update is removed.

“At launch, the goal is to make Fortnite still look like Fortnite,” the notice said. “Along the way, there will be a few bumps, so we are starting testing with a small group of players. We will also be watching comments closely and making improvements over time. “

Again, season 2 officially starts on February 20 and there is still a lot to do in the meantime.
