Trading today was volatile from a sharp decline and a rebound back above 1600, with the index moving to a high of 1,611.67 and a low of 1,592.10.

Ms. Teerada Chanyingyong, director of securities analysis at Phillip Securities (Thailand), said that the Thai stock market today received negative sentiment mainly from external factors, especially the interest rate hike factor. and the strict monetary policy of the US Federal Reserve (Fed) and lower oil prices.

But from domestic factors that have expectations of economic recovery from returning to open the country revival of tourism and increased travel support the rebound index to stand above 1600 points

However, the Thai stock market index is still very fragile mainly due to foreign factors. They should be cautious during the announcement of key US economic figures to come out with concerns about US interest rate hikes.

Tomorrow, the index is expected to swing sideways in the frame. by giving support at 1600 points and resistance at 1620-1625 points

BDMS trading value 2,168.80 million baht, closing at 26.75 baht, price unchanged.

KBANK trading value 1,563.65 million baht, closing at 142.00 baht, a decrease of 2.00 baht.
